One of my teachers called this morning, out of the blue, and asked if there was anything she could do to help me. My mum took the call and woke me up in tears. She was crying because someone offered up help, but she is never sad when someone says something horrible or when the doctors can’t help, surely that is the wrong way round? It feels wrong that she can’t deal with people offering help, it’s too much kindness for her to deal with. It’s so sad that chronically ill people, especially M.E. sufferers, get so little support.

Not sure if that made much sense. My mum was crying in happiness, which made me sad. We get that little help and support…
